Fusion Gymnastics
Parents often look for activities to enroll their little ones in, and gymnastics is a popular one. It can be expensive, and take years for your little Jaxstyn to become a star. One could assume that gymnastics centers would have a budget for a good web presence, given what they charge.
Not so here.
This facility is using a do-it-yourself Homestead SiteBuilder which looks exactly as you'd expect a do-it-yourself website to look. If you're going to go this route, at least check your links once in a while. The ones here are all broken. Let's hope more attention is paid to the children who attend here.
Lawrence & Sons
Today's bad website has a copyright date of 2006, and a message that "Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported". Well no kidding, that was five years ago so it's probably safe to say this company is not around any longer.
Looking through the site, someone's using it though. On the About Us page, someone's inserted irrelevant links to some watch replica websites. Cartier, patek philippe, breitling and hublot - all of which lead to broken pages so even the fraudsters have given up.
Almost too hard to believe: a quaint reference to the Yellow Pages is within the recommedations for finding a good contractor.
Barnett Insurance
Once upon a time, there was a wix.com self-made website in place for this insurance company, we were told.
Now? Nothing.
It's tough to do business without a website, and hard to believe that walk-in traffic would be enough to sustain an insurance company.
Executive Recruiters International
It's been a while since we were sent a FrontPage website, but it's the holiday season so here we go. A gift, you may call it, as it could be one of the last functioning websites using technology from 25 years ago. Seems crazy, doesn't it? Yet here it is, still functioning.
There don't seem to be any available positions, unless we were just unlucky trying the 10 or so locations we selected. There's a link to an article from 1995 about the founder...but really no indication this is still a going concern.
If you were job hunting, and came across this recruiting website, would you apply? Or move on to something more modern and clearly in operation...
BVIP Limo
Our thumbnail is taken from just below the fold, so you can see why this is a bad website. Whoever used WordPress to make this made an unprofessional gaffe, showing code. Credit is taken by "MIM Strategy LLC", so maybe look elsewhere for web design/development.
Not certain whose idea it was to have the logo all starry and sparkly, but that person shouldn't be giving style advice. Also note that the 'upcoming' bridal shows are in 2019. This is 2024, at least for five more days...
