Frost Building Maintenance

Today's bad website makes us sad.  It seems to be (or have been) a website for a very specialized trade - restoring steeples and the like.  However, it's the website that's in dire need of restoration.

To begin with - the thumbnail to the left is of the Contact page.  There's no information!  No address, no phone number, no email address...no way to contact them.  The Services page is equally blank, as is the Projects page.

Once upon a time, there was a logo that may have contained a hint to where this place was, but the image is now broken.

It's so little!  You can be sure there's no responsive design here, imagine how tiny it would be on a phone screen.

Look - no one charges extra for space/size on a website, so please use the area available to make your content readable.  The ADA would have a lot to say about a website that's not easy to read and use these days.  Eh...there's nothing on this site to indicate they are still in business, so it may not matter.

It's admirable to have been in business since 1945, but there's no reason to have your website look like it's from the old days.

Buckeye Expo

IF you could find a working time machine, there are a lot of useful things you could do with it.  One of those things would be to go back to September of 2022 and attend a Taxidermy Show, which seems to be the sole reason for today's bad website to exist.

There is literally nothing else on the calendar, and nothing else to do on this site except read the terms for booth rental.  For a show that ended over 3 years ago.

Mayfair Country Club

Your eyes do not deceive you, this is indeed a website for a country club.  You know, one of those places where the well-to-do golf and socialize.

Then why the rudimentary website?  Surely there is enough money in the budget to hire a professional for your online image.  You could even have email addresses at your domain, instead of icloud or gmail.  Although, once you get to the Contact Us page that lists those email addresses, the nav options no longer work.

There's a photo of each hole's approach, with only your browser's back button to help you out of the picture you're viewing.  The site also features a quaint Mapquest image in case you need directions.   Sheesh.

There's something supremely annoying about a website that has navigation options that jump around, change or even disappear depending upon which page you are on.  That's the case with today's bad website.

At first we were bothered by the cookie acceptance popup on every page, but after quieting that bugger down, the site just doesn't feel right.  Users can get into a rabbit hole with no nav back to the home page other than literally using the back arrow.

Commendably, the website does have responsive design.
